Our exceptional team of cheese-makers continue the art of hand-making Cheddar Cheese the traditional way. Learn the fascinating process of Cheddar making and what makes our cheese so special whist you watch our cheese-makers do what they do best!

We don’t take bookings in advance. Tickets are available on the day from the shop till.
Opening times
Viewing to see our Dairy is open 7 days a week excluding the month of December and the 01st January.
Monday – Friday
11.30am – 3.00pm last entry. Closing is at 3.30pm
Saturday – Sunday
11am – 3.00pm last entry. Closing is at 3.30pm
Visitors are welcome to come and go as often as they like until 3pm.

Dairy Schedule
- Curd Cutting & Dipping from 11.00am (Weekends Only)
- Pitching & Draining of the vat is usually from 1pm
- Cheddaring is usually from 2pm
- Milling is usually from 2.30pm / 3pm
Timings are a guide line only. As a working dairy our timings vary on a daily basis depending on the curd. Our cheese makers may not always be present in the dairy as they attend to other jobs across the site.
