Please be aware that we are now a cashless venue and can only accept CARD PAYMENTS

The Visitor centre and Dairy are currently closed, whilst they are extended and upgraded. Due to reopen at the beginning of 2027. Unfortunately, until this time, there will no tours taking place. However, our Cheese Shop remains open, serving up our delicious cheese to sample.

Any new VIP Tour booking can be carried over until April 2027, allowing you and your recipients plenty of time to enjoy the experience.

Many thanks for providing us with such a friendly and informative VIP tour of the Cheddar Cheese factory. You shared your enthusiasm and knowledge of the cheese making process with us in such a genuine way. We learned so much from you and from watching Will at work. What a lovely team you are at the Cheddar cheese company! We had a great time. We enjoyed tasting the different cheeses very much, too. After visiting the Gough cave we appreciate the hard work it takes to create the cave aged cheese even more!

Paul and I would like to thank you and “The Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company” for an absolutely fantastic tour today. Monday 22nd September, obviously we purchased some cheeses, to take home for my uncle and some for ourselves. The drive up through the Gorge was the perfect finish for our day.
